Thanks Nana and PawPaw

My Five Promises to Nana and PawPaw for Their Next Visit
1. There will not be a single cardboard box in the house (this includes the garage.)
2. We will pan for gold, go to the mountains, tour an old home, or anything else scrapbook worthy.
3. I will take Nana shopping on the first day so she can have the entire visit to decide what items she really wants to buy.
4. PawPaw will sit in a racecar, or we will sit outside Jeff Gordon's building until we catch a glimpse of him.
5.  I will not try to reheat anything resembling chicken and dumplings and serve it to you on Game Day. It's Gumbo from here on out!!!!!!
Love and miss you terribly

Early Birthday

We had an early birthday party for little man while the parental units were in town. He tore into his gifts and then all of us yelled at the TV for 3 hours watching the LSU game. Good Times.

Nana and Pawpaw in the HOUSE!!!!!

Nana and PawPaw arrived safe and sound yesterday. We have been busy eating, driving around, being entertained by the girls and took little man for a haircut. Today we headed off to the Lowes Motor Speedway and literally took a lap around the track with Mr. Bob the tour guide driving! He we all are in Victory Circle. I just wish we would have have a gallon of milk and a trophy. Tomorrow we will brave the weather and venture out again.  Stay tuned. . .

P.S.   Aunt G- I wanted to let you know that the kids got their "happy mail" yesterday and were besides themselves. Love and miss you too.

Hi Neighbor!

Saturdays for me have become known as Mommy's "Sanity Saturdays" because my man is home to watch the kids for a couple of hours and I can get out and explore. This Saturday I got to meet one of my new neighbors, Donna Downey. She is a local scrapbooking guru whom my BFF and I had the pleasure of taking a class from her a couple of years ago. Donna was just as I remembered her bubbling with enthusiasm and such a pleasure to meet again. I am hoping that my buddy and I will get to take a class from her again very soon. (I'm talking to you Miss Cowbell!) The other part of Sanity Saturday was working in the scraproom/playroom since we could not get the Tigers on television. Below is what it looked like this morning.
I know it doesn't look like much, but we are making progress. If you look carefully, my little helper was there as well, although he will only give me 10 minutes of playpen time before he wants my full attention. Have a great week everyone!

Fairy Friday

I love those unusual afternoons with no homework, warm weather, bubbles, and two girls using their imaginations.

11 months!!!

Baby boy is one month shy of a year. This was the only ride he got to go on during Family Fun Day, but he didn't seem to mind. And yes, mom, I know he needs a haircut!
