Here is a project for my latest class at the LSS. Clock base is from Creative Imaginations and transparency was created using Word Art and Text boxes. Super easy, but if you don't have a wide format printer, it can't be done. This is a Mother's Day present for my Mother-in-law, so I hope she is not peeking on the blog or I will have to give it to her early! It's been a couple of months since my last project, and this was a fun project to get me back in the mood. I will also do one for my mom, but waiting on the right pictures for it.

Taking Care of Business

Here is a little sneak peek of my latest layout for the sketch class at my LSS (local Scrapbook store). After a l-o-n-g break from scrapbooking I have spent the past few days trying to get back into the swing of things. Still working on my handouts for class and a little sketchbook we will create. Back to work.

Ode to Joy

Here is what I have been working on this weekend. I wanted to do an advent calendar or a countdown to Christmas, or even a canvas depicting the 12 days of Christmas, but the Basic Grey papers were just too good to "cover up" with leaping lords or maids milking. I just went with a few chipboard shapes and letters and piled on the sparkle to come up with my "Christmas Colorblock." I had a ball pulling out all of my Magic Scrap supplies and my serious adhesive to do this. The house is still a wreck, but it was worth it!
